wow. i have been a TERRIBLE blogger the last few weeks. i just looked back and the only posts i've done are wee bit wednesday posts! i feel like i've been extra busy with the holidays coming around. barberry & lace is SUPER busy (YAY!) and i was promoted to bartender at work, so i've been picking up a bunch of shifts at work to afford christmas presents this year. anyway, that’s my excuse and i'm sticking to it…
i hope everyone else is having fun getting ready for the upcoming holidays… it’s by far my favorite holiday of the year (even more than my birthday)!
{one} did you buy a christmas tree this year?no. i have yet to buy a tree at this house. i was going to buy one this year, but time slipped away from me. {two} what is your favorite holiday tradition?i LOVE christmas eve. my immediate family gets together and my mom makes homemade clam chowder and hot chocolate. we have a big fire and some drinks… it’s wonderful! {three} do you open your gifts on christmas eve or christmas day?christmas day. {four} at what age did you stop believing in santa claus?i don’t know if i ever believed in santa. {five} do you fill stockings?yes, my mom still fills stockings for us kids. just little trinkets… {six} handmade presents or store bought presents?hmm. there’s a time for both i think. {seven} do you have a favorite christmas meal?yes… my dad makes FANTASTIC homemade pork green chili and we have breakfast burritos every christmas morning. i seriously CANNOT wait! {eight} is your christmas tree real or artificial?like i said, i don’t have a tree, but my parents’ is real. it’s beautiful. we all help decorate it. {nine} what is your favorite christmas song?there’s this song off of one of sarah mclachlan’s christmas albums “wintersong” called “in a bleak midwinter”… it’s so gorgeous. {ten} did you send out christmas cards this year?nope. i have yet to do that for the first time too. man, i'm a slacker. ps. if you have questions that you’d like to see featured on wee bit wednesday, email me {here}. xo.

congrats girly on the promotion AND the busy-ness of your etsy shop! how exciting! it's definitely easy to get caught up in the holiday hoopla, i've only posted 3 times this month which is awful!

Too funny that you stopped by today. I was just thinking of you this morning. Wow great minds think alike. I miss you and your posts. I have been a bad slacker too. I only post on Sundays now, but everyone gets a taste of my whole week that way. LOL
